I don't have the latest recalculation of the estimated surplus, but I believe it's over $100 billion for FY01. The 10 year surplus projection from the Bush camp has been estimated at $4 trillion. Take away $250 billion(10x$25B) and you still have a sizable projection. Plenty enough to stop overtaxing earners to redistribute to the non-earners.knc
