It did strike me funny.

I'd really like to see this whole thing end
sooner than later.
It's divisive and unsettling.

The notion that a purely subjective
interpretation of a voter's intent
(which has at least a 50% margin of error)
is essential to a fair election
seems preposterous to me.

I'm, of course, referring to dimpled and pregnant
chads of various order. There is nothing clear
and convincing about most of these marks or almost
marks on the ballots.

In the rare instances where every person who
views the ballot is in agreement, then maybe....
but that is rare.

The civil preponderance of evidence standard requires
a showing of better than 50/50 probability.

I wonder what Gore will say at noon EST.
