Yes, the Gore Campaign made a serious public relations error. The parade of pundits failed to stress these two clearly distinguishable facts, which could have been highlighted with the following two questions emphasized over and over and over again:

1) In Florida, does a candidate have a right to request a hand recount in a close election?

The answer is: Yes.

2) Should sufficient time be provided for that hand recount?

Again, the answer is: Yes.

The honest answer to the above two questions should have been have produced a final result in this election, were it not for the intimidating tactics of the Bush campaign and the bag job coming forth from Ambassador-elect Harris' office and the Jeb Bush-dominated election board.

Conclusion: At this point, the lil' folk got screwed!
