Christopher, I was admitted to the WA bar before lawyers had bar numbers. When they issued the first numbers, they issued them by alphabetical order. As you know, it only takes 4 justices to grant cert. My guess is that Rehnquist,
Scalia, Thomas and Kennedy voted for cert. It would be an enormous intrusion into states rights for them to reverse the Florida Supreme Court. I would be stunned if they do that. Yes, most members of my generation are not into computers but I was one of the first lawyers in Snohomish County to use an IBM Mag Card in 1973.
