You're very naive if you believe a word of what you are espousing here. Gore desperately tried, yet he simply couldn't invent enough votes in Miami-Dade to win Florida.

He tried to do so behind closed doors, but the canvassing board of Democrats in Miami-Dade County discovered there was NO way Gore could gain enough additional votes. They had already counted all of the Democratic precincts, and they simply didn't create enough new votes for Gore. The only precincts remaining to be counted were heavily Cuban and HEAVILY pro-Republican. So, they stopped. Get your facts straight and cite sources too.

LOL! It's ironic that Clinton/Gore's "disenfranchisement" of Cuban-Americans ultimately led to his defeat! I suppose in some ways, you could say Elian cost Gore the election! HAHA! Historians should have a field day when the story of why the vote counting stopped in Miami-Dade is more fully disclosed.
