Darrell, I asked you not to respond unless you had a respectable rebuttal or wished to retract your statement that the '94 agreement ONLY applies to IS-95. Are you saying that 1X is considered to be within the IS-95 standard? I know it's not. Are you admitting that IDC's five patents from the '94 agreement are not needed to build advanced CDMA wireless networks like 1X? If so, I agree with you for a change. If not, why do you suppose IDC hasn't filed a patent infringement suit against Qualcomm? We have had enough personal belittlement, confusion and circular arguments, why don't you just say what you mean? Are IDC's five patents needed for 1X or not? Bux
