That WSJ editorial is certainly one of the more confused efforts they have put together.

I'm surprised the Supreme Court took this case at this time, but the issue is not a political one but rather a constitutional one, at least as I see it. The court will most likely make its decision on the narrowest grounds possible, and perhaps make no decision at all. If it rules, it should simply rule on the unconstitutionality (equal protection) of voters when a small segment of the electorate is permitted special or changing privileges in an election.

CNN has a particularly dense "political analyst" John Schneider, clearly a Democrat apologist, who can't wait to slant each outcome with the Gore talking point. He keeps saying the Supes (the real ones, not the 7 Dwarves in Tallahassee) are going to act politically. Not so, imho.

Bought some FLC this morning, pretty much a full position on them right now. I would like to find an election rally to lighten up on some of these positions, but think the earliest we see that in the oils is Wednesday, perhaps Friday, or maybe next week.
