You know the old expression... "Don't rock the boat"... Since Bush was ahead in those votes that were counted, he didn't want to venture into the unknown...

As for dimples... They are impressions from a stylus that didn't fully impregnate the punch cards... At least, that's what Texas law says... Bush must have believed that when he signed the law in 1997 to allow hand counts of dimples and hanging chads...

Not all of us can see the punch card after we vote... Most of the time it's kept in the machine's lock box... You have to take it on faith that your action to vote was fulfilled by a 50 to 70 year old machine that is no longer being produced...

Whoever ultimately wins this election will have my support... I just want the winner to be the one with the most real votes in Florida...
