In the meantime, AMD, in a relative and absolute sense, keeps improving product lineup and increasing revenues and earnings...Ashok was wrong one year ago, and if he's currently dissing AMD, my guess is, he's probably wrong once again...How can any analyst, looking at the facts, not conclude that AMD with its current outstanding product lineup, its state-of-the-art Dresden fab ready to accommodate the likely explosive demand for the Athy/DDR combo, its track record of 4 successive record breaking reveue and earnings quarters, a Y2000 eps estimated at $2.50(i.e p/e ratio of 8 compared to a tech norm of somewhere around 30) and Y2001 revenue growth conservatively estimated at 25%...Sure wish these analysts would specify where the foregoing factors are off base, as they'd all have to be wildly incorrect to substantiate today's price at $19-1/4, imho...If at all in the ballpark, the foregoing factors are supportive of a $50 price, imho... |
