Slacker: PALM is going to make a GSM device of their own, HAND is going to make a CDMA device. Apparently, they are going to try to divide the market from an air interface strategy.

I love to think of the royalties for PDA's too. It has been frustrating that CDMA products have not already become more available. Sharp's color PDA they announced today with the new pdQ from Kyocera is evidence the movement in pda/smartphones is beginning to accelerate. QCOM has worked hard to secure licensing agreements with all of the different companies - I would like to see more of the US giants like MSFT move to enter this area as CDMA2000 becomes available next year.
