Good article! The more I read about @Home, the better I feel about investing in UMG (US West Media Group). They are deploying the same technology, but I think UMG's business model is better. Their debt position is better, they aren't reliant on partnerships (which according to the Investor article, could work against @Home in a big way), and they have a very aggressive and well-defined infrastructure upgrade taking place to support the capabilties they intend to deliver. Anyone who is excited by @Home ought to at least take a look at UMG. Sure it's not as sexy as an IPO, but given the record of most of those IPO's...who cares?
