There was some talk about Bush winning the popular and losing the electoral before the election. Not too many thought about the opposite happening. Actually, the Dems were quite smug about it.
Like it or not, the law is the law...can't change it retroactive even if the Dems try.
Personally, I WAS for the elimination of the electoral college. I'm mixed on it now as I realize the importance of states rights and not letting a few, heavily populated states decide an election...
