Biotechnology stocks in general sold-off on Monday 11-20-00, but staged a slight recovery on Tuesday and Wednesday. However, there were few biotech turkeys to be found on Friday 11-24-00 as biotechnology stocks rallied to further make up losses sustained on Monday. The BioBizNet Select Index was off 3.75% for the week, while the AMEX Biotechnology Index was down 0.07%. AMGN, IMNX, and MEDI were winners for the week (see biobiznet.com).
