Another factor in Bush's not asking for a recount in those counties where he ran well ahead of Gore is that a majority of the rejected ballots came from precincts in which Gore did well

This is really quite bizzare. If all this is true, this would indicate that the people living in precincts that support Bush have stronger wrists than people living in precincts that support Gore. Or at the very least, there is some mysterious reason that created many more questionable votes in precincts that support Gore.

Weird eh? There has to be a good explanation for this anomaly.

Perhaps it was a conspiracy to supply the Gore precincts with more of the ballots with unbreakable chads? Is the company making the ballots run by a GOP supporter? :)

Think what a few 15" touch screens with the right software and ethernet connections in the ballot booths would have avoided.
