SwissT,

Yea, I hear ya. I don't think its about Bush or Gore, but rather more political bs on top of the earnings pressure, oil, inflation, Middle East, and Mr. Greenjeans. Ya add all that stuff up and something has to give.

I say we shoot the dog, Greenjeans, or any political figure causing a ruckus. Any of these will do, and we should get a real rally going. How long it lasts is anyones guess.

I have posted here before, we are missing our window. I expect excessive tax selling this December as anyone who has winners probably has a basket full of losers to offset them. I think selling will be relentless in the latter half of December.

I am no hurry to get long. My one short today would have been a very nice winner, but I missed getting in by a damn 1/8. If I had been here I would have moved my limit, but I think you see how I am playing this. I am shorting the upswings and taking 1/2 point profits on any long I happen to guess right on...and that has not been too many as of late.

I prefer to just buy and hold for at least a month. That is not going to work in this market, at least not at this time.

I am not expert, but the past 7 years have been very good (ok August of 98 and last March/April sucked).

Just gonna hold em till someone shows me the way.

HAGO
