The next feature to be added to the shareware version will probably be a profit margin...That is not a simple calculation because deposits...withdrawals...and...investment income...must be time weighted with the beginning period portfolio value...For example...if a portfolio were doubled by deposit on the last day of the year...they you would not want to divide the year profit/loss by a portfolio value that included the new deposit...(The profit margin does coincide with an IRR calculation when the IRR is marked to the same time periods...)...
