NCTI Signs Infinite Technology To Develop DSP System-on-Chip For Communications Applications
WESTPORT, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 27, 2000--NCT Group, Inc. (OTCBB: NCTI - news) today announced a development agreement with Infinite Technology Corporation (``ITC'').
Under this agreement, ITC will develop DSP System-on-Chips (SoCs) that will be used as a platform for delivering NCTI's entire suite of ClearSpeech® algorithms, including Adaptive Speech Filter(TM), Acoustic Echo Canceller and Reference Noise Filter(TM). ITC will also manufacture and market the chips to their customers who need noise cancellation for their Internet-ready products. In consideration for this development agreement, ITC will receive up to $2.5 million dollars.
