Why is it that I was a Democrat can easily see the other side of the argument, and the facts from both points of view but so many of you Republicans are in such blind denial?

Get a clue, the election is not over until the courts say it is. 500 votes separate the candidates. Harris is an extremely partisan functionary who can easily be over-ridden by the Fla Supreme Court and should have removed herself from the process in the first place.

Bush's "victory" may be part-way legitimate but only if the Fa Supreme Court fails to act to include more TOTALLY LEGAL and even UNCOUNTED votes. Also, Gore is completely within his legal rights to pursue what he is pursuing and Bush would do the same if he were behind by 500 votes.

The odds are in Bush's favor now but there are 3-4 events which could keep Bush from winning now and the GOP is well aware of that fact even if many of you blindly partisan posters are not. The "we've already won" posture is just that, PR posturing. Nothing is over until the courts say they are. And Gore would be a total fool to concede now.
You diss Gore all the time yet you have to respect him for doing exactly what Bush or anyone else would do in his position. He's a fighter. So is Bush. What do you expect?
