CharleyMane,

I saw Cohen's column; where did Andrea Peyser write?

I was surprised that Gore got Daschle and Gephart out to defend him. I think that Democrats who were wobbling last week have been irritated by Bush's actions into a stronger defense.

I mean, Bush trails in the popular vote and the electoral college, he is certified by 500 votes in a contested election in Florida after blocking recounts in all but two counties, and Gore is trying to steal the election because he doesn't just roll over? Excuse me, did we all fail to notice a Bush landslide here?

The great irony is that Gore might have been pressured into conceding if Bush did not have his case pending before the Supreme Court. I think Gore has until Friday to make his case.
