How can anyone in good conscience assume the presidency knowing they lost the national popular vote and also possibly the electoral college vote? As it stands, the electoral college vote cannot be determined until ALL of Florida's votes are counted.

Ultimately, what the Florida Supreme Court rightfully decided is that nothing is more precious in America than the right to vote and to have that vote counted. You better face up to it, Snake Eyes, Bush is still hurdling, except now he doesn't have Ambassador-elect Harris taking down the hurdles in front of him as he attempts to jump 'em.

In fact, Bush could end up looking pretty green as he crosses the finish line second behind Gore. You see, Gore at least understands the law of the land and the value of America's court system. Bush does not.
