Frank,

If the space doesn't host a Gorilla, wouldn't it become a Royalty sector?

I was wondering who was going to be the first to challenge me on that point. You might remember that we had a discussion about that a long time ago. One of our thread mates even posed a specific question written by me to Moore's listserve so we could get a definitive clarificaiton of his intentions. But we never recieved an answer from him.

In the discussion there were some really good arguments based on specific references in the book that could justify your view or my view. For me, the main distinction between royalty and primates is that the former doesn't have a proprietary architecture. Therefore, when one does exist I percieve that it remains a primate game, with or without a gorilla.

I think the real issue is not what label each of us might use in that situation. The real issue is that we understand the essential weaknesses of such a company.
