One thing I heard on radio on the way home today: even Feinstein, mostly a bipartisan politician, reportedly is hardening her position and encouraged Gore to contest until there's no more legal venue available. She reportedly even asked Gore to not give in to public pressure! Well, finally the Democratic party inherits some of the spinal cord print from the president.

I certainly respect that and for the first time my political contribution will go the Democratic way. I certainly hope that the Republican partisans on this forum will put their money where their fingers are: send it to the Bush campaign for the privately-funded transition program. The Bush/Cheney ticket certainly gains a bit of respect from me for doing that.
