ted & Jozeph - I think you guys are arguing over the NET
GAIN in Gore votes vs. the raw gain in Gore votes.

But here's something I find interesting - even in Broward
county, Bush picked up MORE VOTES THAN GORE, adjusted for
the number of original votes for each candidate. Here's the
numbers:
BUSH GORE
OFFICIAL 'RECOUNT' NUMBERS: 177,323 386,561
HAND RECOUNT CHANGE: 579 1,146
FOREIGN ABSENTEE CHANGE: 37 53
CERTIFIED TOTAL: 177,939 387,760

From where are you getting these numbers? The vote was in the millions and not thousands and by your showing, it looks like Gore won 2 to 1.

In other words, for each 100,000 machine votes recounted,
Bush picked up 326.5 votes, but Gore only picked up 296.5
votes.

So, have at it, GORE! Let's recount the whole state! Doing
that should give Bush an extra 90 vote margin.

I got my numbers from Fox.com. They show that Gore picked up more votes than Bush in the recount. Again, what numbers are you using to come to these conclusions?
