Hi Mark. The contest is still on and will end at the end of the year. Your position has made a bold move in the last few days. So bold has gold's move been, that I decided to short a gold stock, ASA, for a nice loss so far.

I see that the Euro staged a dramatic comeback against the dollar today in spite of new lows for several individual European monetary units, because of the fear that new intervention to prop the Euro is in the wings in light of the strengh of the US dollar and in the same stroke, taking advantage of the weakness in the Japanese yen.

I don't see the strengh in gold continuing, but tip my hat to you and welcome your opinion. Thanks and good luck Mark, in your investments and in the market.
