Avoid TD Waterhouse. Called customer service this evening
about my Power of Attorney account, and was told that they had no record of the power of attorney. She refused to talk to me and refused to let me speak to a supervisor. Said she was supposed to hang up on "this kind of call", which she did. The idiot didn't know how to look up the account registration. What a way to treat a client. Said that if she couldn't find the information, neither would her supervisor be able to. Unbelievable--wish I'd written down her name.
