Well, we'll never know because Bush was too afraid too see all the votes counted. The fact is Bush has been doing everything within his means from day one to stop any recounting of votes. I dont blame him, he has nothing to gain and a lot to lose. I spite of the 72 hour deadline passing they could have agreed. If Gore would have agreed I doubt Florida would have stood in the way.
