130 years later--Canada is still run by Ontario, and other select parts of EAST. Still, without the split vote, the election would have been awfully close. Considering the advantage of incumbency, and considering the impediments presenting to a new party trying to field and organize new candidates in 3 months...one can only conclude that this will DEFINITELY be the last Liberal term in this decade.

In the meantime, they were forced to make promises because the rest of Canada had the courage to say, "we count." Now they will need to address those promises in some part. This election has moved Canada forward in spite of the fact that the vast majority of the Liberal "Representation" is in ONE province (103 seats if I am not mistaken). One province with 2/3 of the power. 10 provinces with 1/3 of the power. How wonderful!
