c.horn,

Did you try to use another keyboard on your bare motherboard with the Vid card?

I've had cases where my keyboard wasn't plug right (or defective) and, as a result, lost my video. Don't forget to turn off your computer before you unplug or replug any PS2 keyboard plug. I shorted my motherboard several years ago while unplugging the PS2 keyboard while the computer was still on. "Ouch!!!"

I don't know if they've redesigned the motherboard now so that you won't be able to short the motherboard if you unplug or replug the PS2 keyboard while the computer is still on.

Hope it helps....
