Thanks, Edamo. The problem is calls that were not short term but are becoming ever shorter term (on rmbs) in a deteriorating market. The other problem is I'm now paralyzed by fear, plus loathing for myself for not being out of the market during a bear. I suppose since I don't think the market is coming back any time soon I have to sell all calls that are due before next Jan. Freeus
