The contest phase probably can't be completed by December 12. They are going to have depositions, and hearings with witnesses, and the Republicans don't even have to file their answer before Friday, I think, which is December 1.

Maybe that's why the original 7 day deadline was put in, to give time for the protest phase? Ironic, huh?

In this case though, the Florida Legislature needs to decide 7 days before that Dec. 12 day. That means we have 8 days left to do all the protest trials and recounts. Not likely, IMO.
