Off topic, but valuable.
Some of you know that years ago my family was poisoned with Carbon Monoxide by a Lennox G20 series gas furnace.

My cost was 2 dead dogs, 3 family members with brain damage, a lose of millions in future earning from my then current profession and debilitating physical damage. The closest example to CO poisoning would be the effects of Gulf War Syndrome.

Afer 8 years of efforts, I finally received a call less than an hour ago from Senator Arlen Spector's office that there will be an investigation into why the Consumer Product Safety Commission has not ordered a recall of these furnaces. My 1st request was in 1992. There will also be an inquiry in to why the CPSC had refused information about Lennox I requested through the Pennsylvania Right to Know Act. This is similar to the Freedom of Information Act.

Since our poisoning, I have had several calls from attorneys nationwide requesting help in trial preparation, as there have been many other deaths and disabilities from these furnaces. I hope the end of these poisonings are near.

If you have either an unvented gas fireplace, a natural draft gas furnace or any other gas burning appliance, please get several CO detectors. CO accumulates in pockets in the home. Levels that are negligible in one area of the home may be deadly in others. Take no chances.

If you know of any person who has been poisoned please PM me with the details and I will direct them to the necessary medical protocol for repair due to cell death.
