I am very much a believer in evolution and chaos thoery... My background in science and need for logical methodology, however, sometimes butts heads with my ego when self consideration comes into play. My personal theory of everything (the short short version) has much to do with chaos and fractals,... patterns that repeat themselves on ever grander scales according to predetermined rules... without duplication, ad-infinitum. In the end, it is always survival of the fittest. I could explain how this fits in with the history of the universe from the BB on down to today with human development... but that might take a while... Interesting that you feel that your influence is so limited given your belief in chaos theory. If you subscribe to the butterfly effect... then even your miniscule input could result in a drastically different outcome down the road. This is not to say that I disagree. I think when that concept is dumbed down to make it explicable to the average reader one loses the reality that there are an infinite # of input variables... and the odds that you matter are next to zip.
