The mere fact that CLRN is buying ANET makes me doubt their ability to make good business decisions. But I won't go into that.
CLRN has revenues of $117M. I will have to do some research on CSCO's numbers, but between the MC3810, 2600, 3600, 7200, AS5300, and standalone gateways, I suspect that CSCO does more revenues in the gateway market in a couple of months, than CLRN does in a year.

If so, if you look at the definition for "gateway" that is used, it excludes most of CSCO's gateway products, such as the MC3810, 2600, 3600, 7200, AS5300. It would only include CSCO's standalone gateways. I don't consider this a realistic slicing of the gateway pie. |
