Very frustrating week. NO buyers of Semis. flashmakers are being unfairly lumped in with the rest of the semis and being whacked because of slower PC sales. SOX index just terrible. I guess that NO ONE is buying digital cameras or mp3 players. I guess Palm and Handspring are selling loser products that nobody wants or wouldn't even make great Christmas gifts. Yeah...right. SNDK getting whacked. LEXR getting shaved on terrible volume. I'm convinced that this terrible market is NOT going to reverse itself should the election finally end. We are in a classic Bear Market where upward spikes are more than matched by extended periods of NO BUYING and falling stock prices. We are caught in THE MOST painful type of Bear Market. Even a Fed easing of Int. rates I feel won't reverse this nightmare. I think we are in this for the longer haul.
