12:43 ET PMC-Sierra (PMCS) 93 13/16 -8 7/8: -- Update -- Niles speaking ahead of the 13 ET PMCS presentation at CSFB's conference (see Events Cal for schedule); says that Q4 is seasonally weak and that company might talk about inventory corrections at customers, also notes that none of the comm IC companies except ALTR have yet lowered guidance, and that this is therefore an opportunity to lighten up on the group.
