Its all over for Mr Gore as President, since regardless of any Court actions the Fla Legislature can and will(if forced to) send the Bush slate to Congress.
The Democrats job now is only to make it appear that:
1. The Republicans stole the election, whereas the converse will be true if Gore prevails.
2. That if some of the blank ballots in three counties were assigned 2 to 1 in favor of Gore he would be,in historical records, the peoples choice, making it appear
that Republicans did steal the election.
This is a desperate race against time by Gore attorneys
to get those selected blank ballots counted, and, using new rules, recount votes that have already been counted manually .
Will the Florida courts permit this charade to continue? Stay tuned to local stations.
If recounting of votes after the Certification is permitted, and the truth is truly sought for historical records, the Democrats must call for all Florida counties to be recounted.
Two chances of that happening, slim and none, because the Republicans would most likely win with Nationwide headlines proving beyond a doubt who won.
Well, we just can't let that happen to two Parties who can stand a loss but who will never forsake their right to bitch about the winner.
