The will to win, to get power...why is that so surprising to you? This is politics.

I thought we settled that concession call three weeks ago. At the time Gore made that first call, Bush was leading by over 100,000 votes and all the networks had declared Bush the winner. En route to give his concession speech, the gap was narrowing fast, real fast. By the time he got to downtown Nashville, the gap had closed to less that 30,000. The networks had egg on their face again and were about to withdraw their call again.
