So actually, yes - KDDI's 960 000 overall sub growth projection for the next six months *is* a bad, bad number.

I agree....though this would represent an acceleration over the growth seen in the last 5 months. From a standpoint of CDMA sales this would probably represent a return to the pattern seen earlier in the year of approximately 3-400,000 new CDMA subs each month.

This isnt nearly enough to stem the tide of NTT's dominance. KDDI needs to move quickly to start developing applications to take advantage of 1xMC (even prior to its roll-out). This is their last chance....and it may already be late in the game.

Subscribers beget applications....
