I still don't know why everyone blew my thoughts off.

Not everyone. I still have your thread bookmarked. ;-) And frankly, at this point, I'm starting to share your concerns. I very recently went shopping for a new MP3 player and found myself actually looking at the iPaq. Yikes. Ok, so it turned out to be a pretty sucky MP3 player for a variety of reasons, but I *looked* at it.

That's not good for PALM.

I also expected - planned, even - to buy at least one new handheld this christmas. I genuinely believed PALM was going to release some wicked cool new products for the Xmas shopping season, but they didn't. So none of my shopping dollars are going to PALM.

PALM is growing, so ordinarily these things wouldn't concern me so much considering PALM just IPOed. But PALM wasn't an ordinary IPO - when was the last time a fresh new face came on the market with a half-billion shares outstanding - and PALM is too expensively priced for this sort of thing.

I expect PALM to do well, but I also expect to reload my PALM position for under $30 within 2-3 months.
