Mr McGowan, All Gore is trying to do, is ensure that all the ballots that indicate the intent of the voter, are counted. The result of counting all the ballots that are agreed as being legally acceptable, will determine who gets the electoral college votes for Florida. The idea of only accepting votes that are counted before a certain time to determine the outcome of an election, is a defeat for the purpose of holding an election.
