Some classic signs needed for a bottom, according to one analyst per CNBC - Higher volume on downside followed by high volume on upside - 1000 new lows, followed by 200 new highs - 45% bulls (still are about 66% bulls which is remarkably high) Obviously we aren't there yet. INKT - 5-5/8 at 24-3/16 Easily new annual low! CORV - 22-9/16 (way below annual low of 25)! AOL - near 40 and annual low of 37 LU - new annual low AKAM - 30-3/8 (new low yet one beneificiary of the new Reg "FD" disclosure) MRVC - 17 (annual low 15) JDSU - 60! (annual low 52-7/16) etc etc What's doing well? PFE,LLY, etc. You can feel a huge comeback once this is all over. But unfortunately and remarkably it isn't over yet.
