<< Would you buy AMD with no EPS growth in 2001 ? Wall Street does not like companies that do not have any EPS growth even if I have to admit that for AMD it would be a great achievement to have a flat EPS and revenue growth in the hight teens considering from where they are coming from. But again is it a reason to buy in ? >>

Bottom line growth (pretax) will outpace topline growth since we are well past the break even point. This means that 15-20% revenue growth will translate into much more then 15-20% pretax earnings growth. Thus, we should be able to post higher numbers then last year despite larger taxes. Also, the analyst community should be able to pick up on the difference easily (hopefully AMD PR will be a bit better at spelling it out this time around too).
