Running Bull - If things are as bleak as you claim, why did Miller - who holds a cautious if not gloomy short term outlook on the industry as a whole - rate the company a BUY (or was it STRONG BUY) in his recent report? Would you care to elaborate on his specific reasoning? I do not have access to the report, or I'd do it myself.

Kent - One recent post from AV mentioning FSI, its undervaluation, and possible AMAT attraction is #232 on the General Lithography thread. With regard to the AMAT situation:
Kent, we've officially moved into the twilight zone. Joe has written considerably about the gap in valuations, but it's getting downright absurd. I believe AMAT crossed $70 briefly today. From Dailystocks info, that calculates out to 5.2X book. Re acquisition leverage: a market cap of 12.7 billion, and, get this, $1 billion in cash in the bank. Holders of these ridiculously valued semi-equip stocks like FSI, UTEK, and SVGI, take notice.
This ludicrous market seems to be saying that AMAT is IT, period. Well, maybe some day...but not without acquisitions, IMHO.
