Whether or not it matters to the market who the next US President will be, get set for the Florida Legislature to pick Florida's Electors no later than December 12, 2000. I just stumbled across the hearing by accident, but after watching it am fairly certain that they not only CAN do it, they WILL do it. The Legislature is Republican dominated, so the Electors will be for Bush.
