And to complicate matters for AWS, and Cingular, WCDMA (as specified today) as a 3G migration path is going to demand these turkeys get more expensive spectrum because ain't no way Wideband CDMA is going to work for them in the patchwork of spectrum they have licensed.

Yup, not only that, we still don't know when will the spectrum be available.
