LoF, the other problem is that the GOP affiliated elections supervisor didn't grant the same access to Democrats. So, even if you were to allow the poison fruit to count, how can you justify the election supervisors actions that prevented hundred and possibly thousands of Gore supporters from voting.

1. You can't allow a perpetrator of a crime to benefit from his/her malfeasance. This is standard American Jurisprudence.

2. It is patently unfair to Democrats and Independent voters to only allow the GOP to amend (illegally) absentee ballot requests.

3. 2 makes whether or not they were valid votes on their face irrelevant because Democratic voters were not afforded the same. It is unfair to 50 million+ voters who cast their votes for Gore to allow those GOP votes to count.
