Keith,

<< Luke's comments on EDGe would seem to contradict any redetermination that BLS is going with EDGE. >>

Whoa, ole buddy.

Step back.

I have high respect for Tim Luke (or used to), but ...

Please do not give us Tim Luke as verification of the above.

Please also read his full statements on this subject and analyze them carefully.

He quotes "Telephony" as a respected source which it might have been (and was) before Lynette Luna got there, but the "Telephony" articles he is referring to were written by Lynette.

I have lost considerable respect for Tim Luke's firm (and for Tim Luke) because of the the stand they took on tech stocks several weeks back and have lost a great deal of respect for SSB because of the stand they took on "opticals" yesterday.

Nasdaq closed at 2735 today, and QUALCOMM closed down 6 at 83.5.

This is not entirely due to a Constitutional Crisis, or the fact that Bush can't spell wireless.

You have NEVER heard me talk about politics on this thread until this post, but please pay attention to what is going on with our friends at LB or SSB.

Tim Luke talks to Lynette, he talks to Seybold, he (probably) talks to both Dr, Jacobs and Perry, but he does NOT know what decisions AWS or Cingular will make.

Tim Luke comments are hearsay.

Respectfully,

- Eric -
