Bush is not afraid of a fair count. The problem just as Clinton is struggling with the definition of "is" Al seems to have an unusual definition of "fair". To paraphrase Daly, "the only fair count is one in which Al Gore wins".

Gore wants to define what constitutes a vote for him. That would be any vote that is not specifically cast for anybody else. In every election, there are a certain number of votes that are uncountable. Gore is trying to assert that somehow these uncountable votes can be fairly counted. They can not. That is an unfortunate fact. One only hopes voting equipment will be upgraded to better handle such a close race.
