I would say that given there is no earnings worries on PMCS on the horizon; given Cisco is expected to do well; ADCT alleviated some spending slowdown worries even about Clecs could add a lot of support to the optical stocks along with the chip makers that supply this industry.

The CEOs of JNPR and BRMC were also bullish. The JNPR CEO was looking forward to seeing Cisco enter one of its keys markets so that the overal market for a certain type of router would increase!
All driven by increasing internet use and increasing need for bandwidth.

I am going to hold onto CMOS as the market has pretty much factored in a slowdown. As interest rates start getting cut, we could see the start of some capital spending. The end demand is there but many companies have credit problems in Asia. Interest rate cuts by the FED would certainly stimulate demand in that part of the world. Given how important it is to CMOS's business, I think the stock will start rallying quickly if that is anticipated.
