GGL Diamond summer samples diamondiferous GGL Diamond Corp GGL Shares issued 29,011,025 Nov 28 close $0.23 Tue 28 Nov 2000 News Release Mr. Raymond Hrkac reports Indicator mineral samples taken this summer on 100-per-cent-owned GGL claims in the Northwest Territories have yielded positive signatures for both kimberlite and for diamondiferous kimberlite. Lab results were received late last week for 444 of the 746 indicator mineral samples collected by field crews this summer. From the 444 samples whose results were received last week, a total of 769 kimberlitic indicator mineral grains were studied and their chemical composition determined. Of these 683 grains were found to be pyrones of kimberlitic association. The results strongly suggest that the primary source of some of the indicator minerals may be diamondiferous. Factors contributing to this conclusion are: the morphology of mineral grains; the presence of diamond association chrome spinel; and the number of diamond association G-10 pyrones identified.
